The flood that happened many years ago causes those flood victims moved to the current location of Kiriwong village nowadays. Consistently with the appearance of its landscape, the meaning of this village‘s name is the place surrounded by mountain and rivers.  Signature bridge of Kiriwong village called Ban Kiriwong bridge was built in 1992 by Public works Department of Thailand From generation to generation, the main occupation of people is gardeners mostly are fruit gardens which also called as suan som rom. This village is well known with the beauty of its landscape because the location that surrounded by mountains, rivers and forests. But the most attractive point of this village is its people so that sometimes we are not travelling to only just see beautiful tourist spots but to experience how local lives. The people here live in simple lifestyle and take care of each other like they are the same family. You can easily get there from Ampher Meaug Nakornsithammarat driving along high way number 4016 then turn left to high way number 4015,around the 9th kilo Mather marker turn right to Kiriwong village keep going along the way aroung 9 kilomate more then you will reach Kiriwong village. Another way you can take the local bus for Yoi market in Ampher Muang Nakronsithammarat,the first round starts from 07.00am-16.00pm the price per person is 20 bath.
