You can take regular and air-conditioned buses that depart daily for Nakhon Si Thammarat from Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal. The trip takes about 12 hours. There are three types of air-conditioned busses that leave Bangkok either early in the morning, in the evening, or at night.
